We have implemented a fix and have been successfully monitoring the connection. All HubSpot Marketing and CRM Custom Metrics are now syncing fine again.
The incident was caused by memory issues which have been improved to prevent similar incidents in the future.

We are experiencing possible syncing delays for Custom Metrics for HubSpot CRM and HubSpot Marketing Data Sources. We are working on resolving this asap.
